Blast freezers are mainly used to freeze big fish, meat, chicken and
dairy products and most importantly pre-cooked meals.
Blast freezers are constructed from puf panels of 150mm.
Depending upon the product use, the internal portion of the blast freezer
can be of either stainless steel or galvanized sheet with food safe paints
pre-coated on the sheets.
The temperature maintained inside the blast freezer is around -20o
C.
Depending upon the product, the freezing time also varies from 4hrs to
6hrs.
Capacity of the blast freezer depends on different products. The most
common capacity of blast freezer is 1ton/6hrs & 2ton/6hrs.
